Morning I was actually cold in the night -was it really that cold outside then just been out with Louis and the wind is so bitter cold. They say we are going to get warmer as the wind changes this afternoon. I do hope so I have never yearned for warmer weather so much. I think its all the worry with Ray now but he can drive tomorrow yippee !!
Our Neighbour came in to see Ray as Dave had returned from Italy and he had sent 2 emails to us but we didn’t get them. He was worried about Ray but is now happy to see he is recovering well.
Ray seems to be slipping writing his blog but I must admit life has got very the same and we are like two trapped lions in a cage. I think so many people feel this anyway as we look each day to a bad winter.
It snowed yesterday, only short bursts but it was heavy once or twice. I took Louis out and walked as fast as I could to get round and back in the warmth. I yearn for a summers day with bees humming and birds singing, The frogs jumping around in the pond.
Not quiet like this but you know what I mean.
Walking on that pathway would be lovely right now and smelling freshly cut hay and a happy dog barking.
I can hear the music of Jack Hargraves programs now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=90fXoQm0Lfo ha ha !!! Love –Out of Town

I kept very busy on the computer as we are raising Awareness and ADAO was in Washington DC her message– Heading over to Capitol Hill now to discuss asbestos imports, investors, and new health facts and stats with Congressional leadership. We are cranking on Day Four of Global Asbestos Awareness Week.
Such a busy lady. The last message we got was Nervously preparing our press conference where we will disclose Brazilian Asbestos Mining Operations Partially Funded by U.S. Investors
Tuesday, April 2, 2013…Washington, DC — The Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) will hold a press conference Thursday, April 4, detailing the facts behind the continued, sole-sourced asbestos importation from Brazil – funded in part by U.S. investors potentially unaware of the dangers associated with asbestos.
WHAT: Linda Reinstein, Mesothelioma Widow, Co-Founder & President of the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) will disclose U.S. investment companies investing in Brazilian asbestos mining and production. In 2012, all asbestos imported to the United State originated from Brazil.
WHEN: Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 10:00 AM
WHERE: National Press Club, Washington, DC (Bloomberg Room)
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health, World Health Organization, International Labor Organization, and International Agency for Research on Cancer agree that asbestos is a carcinogen and there is no safe level of exposure. Since 2012, Brazil has been reported as the sole source for USA imports. According to a USGS report, U.S. asbestos consumption is likely to remain near the 1,000-ton level, as it has in the past 4 years.
The World Health Organization estimates that 107,000 workers around the world die each year of an asbestos-related disease, equaling 300 deaths per day.
With her being 4 hours behind us we wont hear until later today what went on. Linda is a great speaker so we know she has done a great job.
I hope the US will come to its senses and Ban Asbestos they are so way behind making life safe for their citizens.
